The Year 10 students who took part in the Maths Challenge day on Monday the 8th of May at the Manchester Metropolitan University were: Sam Pettit, Daniel Southgate, Eboni Smith, Lauren Geraghty, Lloyd Mulvey, and Adam Morris. Irlam and Cadishead College welcomed Colonel Adul Maliphan and his ‘Hero For Children’ team for their prestigious, annual visit on Wednesday 3rd May 2017. The ‘Hero lets the dream come true’ project is headed by Colonel Maliphan and each year, twenty five – thirty outstanding young Muslim boys, aged twelve years are recruited to the Hero Academy Football Club. The selection process spans 1,300 schools of 56 districts in the 5 provinces. Irlam was the visitor’s third stop during their stay in the North West, after visiting Manchester United FC and Liverpool FC prior to arriving at Station Road. The

Alice in Wonderland 2017 The Irlam and Cadishead College Production of Alice in Wonderland was a local ‘Tea Party’ to remember.  Year 5 & Year 6 students from local primary schools were invited to attend a special ‘Matinee Performance’ by the Royal Queen of Hearts. It was wonderful to see more than 450 primary school children enthusiastically watching the performances that were delivered over two afternoons. The show included songs from the famous Disney Musical version, such as “I’m late” and “Zip-a-dee-doo-dah.” The three evening shows were performed in front

The rather neglected Science Garden is now having a ‘make over’, thanks to our brand new Gardening Club. This includes our enthusiastic and talented Year 7 students and Mrs Lightfoot, Mr Cornwell and Mrs Ward. Our Year 7 gardeners are: Robert Hembrough, Nyle Morse, Nathaniel Morse, Ali Kharsiev, Alfie Cretney, Rhia Kelly and Georgina purchase generic imitrex Brown.
